Mezzo-Soprano Hannah Morley has just completed her studies for an Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Vocal and Operatic Performance at The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, where she studied with Louise Crane, Paul Wingfield and Robin Bowman and was generously supported by the Conservatoire’s scholarship scheme. Previously she obtained her Masters from RBC with distinction in 2022 and received her BA (Hons) in Music from Bath Spa University.
Hannah is a Britten Pears Young Artist, French song and Mélodie (2024-2025), a Leeds Lieder Young Artist (2022), and an Emerging Artist for Clonter Opera Theatre (2022).

Hannah is the winner of several prizes including, The Gordon Clinto English Song Prize (2024) The Edward Brooks English Song Prize (2024), The Stuart Cameron-Smith French Song Prize (2023), The Elizabeth Rollason Award (2023), The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Singing Prize (2023), The Gil Rodriguez Scholarship award (Opéra de Baugé 203) The Ashleyan Opera Prize (2022) and The Edward Brooks Lieder Prize (2021)
Notable operatic roles include Filipyevna in Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin (Hampstead Garden Opera), Madre in Puccini’s Madama Butterfly for a semi-staged concert performance with The City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, The Gingerbread Witch in Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel (Royal Birmingham Conservatoire), Madame de la Haltière in Massenet’s Cendrillon (RBC), Mercédès in Bizet’s Carmen (St.Pauls Opera), The Book of Fate/Old Woman in Dove’s The Enchanted Pig (RBC), Marthe Schwerlein Faust (Arcadian Opera), and Madge Williams in Stephen Mcneff’s Banished (RBC).
Upcoming performances include singing as the Alto Soloist for Haydn’s Nelson Mass and Handel’s Messiah with Warwick and Kenilworth Choral Society, singing as the Alto Soloist for Bach’s St.John Passion with Daventry Choral Society, as the Alto Soloist for Duruflé’s Requiem with Sinfonia Viva.
